Forsyth’s is a small, stylish, environment friendly lodge offering an unforgettable experience in one of the most exciting wildlife parks of India. For the discerning traveller, who truly revels in wild places far away from the maddening jeep borne hordes, this is a place not to be missed.

The lodge is set in 44 acres at the edge of the farmland and forest. It consists of 12 cottages that are inspired by local village designs and materials. The main building houses a dining area on the ground floor and a bar-lounge above with lovely open terraces providing breathtaking views. An eco-friendly swimming pool set in a flower-filled enclosure completes the picture.

The vast grounds of Forsyth are a vibrant habitat supporting a variety of wildlife and sitting on your verandah you can spot their myriad hues.
Activities and Excursions :
Spread across the highest stretch of the rugged Sutpura Mountains, the Satpura Tiger Reserve is a classic tiger country. Apart from supporting an array of predator and prey species, Satpura is also home to matchless species of bird. The scenery composed of waters of Tawa Dam, forested hills, meadows and precipitous slopes makes Satpura a spectacular tiger reserve in central India. Lesser known among the tourists, one visiting this reserve has the privilege of exploring it on foot, by canoe or kayak, by elephant, by jeep and through vigils in carefully crafted hides.

How To Get There :
Forsyth’s Lodge is located 180 km (4 hours) from Bhopal which is well connected by air and trains to the rest of the country. The nearest rail station is Pipariya (1 hour) which is well connected on the train network of the region.

A visit to Satpura Tiger Reserve may be combined with Pachmarhi and Bhopal which are at driving distance.
